Have done a few critical Hive Skirmishes in Metana. Some missions are listed twice though only one of them will group you correctly. Sectors have had up to four Queens and Two Tridents that I could see. If grouped correctly, mission proceeded normally including mission ending in failure after too many casualties (didn't try to kill the queens).
