Joysticks
Window users have no calibration button like mac users do. So whats the point in the joystick sticky in bug section. How am i ment to be able to creat a deadband.
Vendetta/config.ini (or wherever it is under Windows) is your joystick's friend. I am on a Mac but prefer to adjust settings for my joystick via the config file as the calibration in-game is none too precise for my taste.
Ok below is a copy of the youstick part in my config.ini, I change values that look like what alters dead band but nothing happens and when i take a look at the cofig.ini its all back to default. Could you please tell me which parts to change to give me more dead band then I will know what I am doing. Thankyou in advance.

Your deadzones (?axismindeadzone/?axisdeadzone) are already set to -10/10 which seems rather high to me but it does vary with each joystick. However, a bigger deadzone will not make your joystick less sensitive, if that is your original complaint.
Anyway, if your changes keep getting reset to the default, you will need someone who has direct experience with Windows and your particular joystick to fix this.

mistake i made was changing
yaxismindeadzone=-10
where i should of changed
yaxisdeadzone=10
to increase the size of my dead band which is now
yaxisdeadzone=15 and works fine
