I was hunting queens today in Azek (j-7 i believe). Unfortunately, I encountered a bug. i could take out the shields with missile volleys, but as soon as I would return in a hog to finish it off the shields would recharge. This happened once, and I assumed it was the normal recharge. I knocked out the shields again and hurried back in my hog. The shields were still down when I entered the system, however as soon as the first shot registered on the queen it had full shields again. I'm quite sure I was inside the 5 minutes time deadline, and I wasn't experiencing any lag. Just shields out one second, and on as soon as I started hitting the queen.

I ran into precisely the same problem today. It is possible top kill it, but only through repeated rag spamming (you have to kill the shield every volley).

Or equip an energy weapon to finish off the Queen right after you take down her shields. A single HX is recommended for its light weight and sustained fire but almost any energy weapon will do.

I didn't try it, but I would predict that the shields would be back up as soon as the first shot hit. That does seem to be the nature of this.

3 of us were working a queen in Divinia L-2 tonight and we could see the shields go down and then instantly re-charging as we were hitting it. Looked kind of like a yo-yo.

Not an hour earlier we took out a queen in one of the other Divinia sectors, which is why we tried to do a second one.
