I was flying though space and opened the chat window maximized. after i was done talking, i wanted to minimize it again but couldn't. i couldn't put my mouse to the stop of the screen to click the button and couldn't lose focus on the chat window. occasionally, i can see the time and date from my desktop flashing though into the game and i think it might have something to do with it. hope this is resolvable.

Try to reproduce the problem and give some insight on what you did and how.
From the 'clock flashing into the game' this sounds like
1. your playing on windows
2. your fullscreen window lost mouse focus, but then you shouldn't be able to click anything inside it
This might have been some other application trying to get focus (antivirus software updater or the like)
Could you ALT-TAB out and back again?
