Ive created a new count but whenever i go into the game and try to login it says login incorrect. Is there some period of time i have to wait before i can play the game? Or is there something else i need to do?

Hmm, maybe your password is too long?
There should be no delay between creating the account and being able to use it in Vendetta. Both the web site and the game use use the same database.

You may need to open a port on your firewall if you have one. Take a look at the FAQ for information on which port needs to be opened.

Dunno. Ray, if it says "login incorrect" it's definitely not a network issue. And they don't use the same database, but they should be synchronized databases. I checked that the databases are indeed in sync and Chandalen1489's userid is definitely available on the game server, so I dunno what the deal is. I'd suggest changing passwords on the website and trying again.

Odd that this is happening again. We've had this problem before, long long ago, in the before time, and then I fixed something or other but I don't remember what it was.

I have the same problem. I created a new user on Friday and I can login with my username and password to the website (obviously, because otherwise you couldn't read this ;-) but when I try via the game login screen, it doesn't work.

Are there any characters which I shouldn't use in a password? A min/max length? My character has a space in its name, is that bad?

Yes, our databases are out of sync and are not resynchronizing for some unknown reason. It's very frustrating. I'm trying to fix it now.

Yay! Databases are now back in sync, so you should be able to log in.
