The mission goes well but tells me to head back to the starting station sector, when the 2 npc's and I get there nothing happens, even when I dock.

npc's are just sitting there in the sector.

I was going to post a thread about this one too. The solution for anyone with the same problem is to fly back to the sector you jumped in last, and then jump back again to your home station and dock.
This worked for me at least.
