I just downloaded Vendetta got it installed all right. When I try to connect it doesn't do anything at all for about 2-3 minutes and then it comes up with the message "Connection Terminated: Timed out with server" or something along those lines. Any suggestions on how to get around this? Is the server just busy? I've tried it at different times of day as well so it shouldn't be that. I have a cable modem connection so it can't be slow on my side.

Any help is appreciated.

If you are running security software, try disabling it and running Vendetta again. If this allows Vendetta to run, enable your security software and manually prompt it to allow Vendetta. You may have to do this after each update, though the security software should prompt you.
