The dates seem to be formatted according to the system locale. Which doesn't work too well for non latin scripts.

If I use simplified chinese it looks like this:

Russian doesn't look much better and even german is missing an umlaut in one month.
Probably not a serious issue and may even be a linux only ..it just looks pretty ugly.

On linux the easiest fix would be to force the default locale.

I would love if we used a unicode font instead of just textures.
