Mentioned it in the past but I don't think I ever posted it...

The following weapons are all immune to the Point Defense effects of capital gauss

Gemini Homing Missiles
Chaos Swarms
Locust Swarms
Capital Chaos Swarm

A major similarity between these is that they are all multi-launch weapons. Single launch weapons such as stingrays and sunflares are detonated when a capital gauss bolt impacts them. In the case of the multi-launch weapons above the bolt simply passes through.

Hmm, so, not only are they multi-launch, but they also seem to have some sort of displacement device.. they only exist in subspace until right before point of impact.

That's gotta suck for defenders.
