For a while now my ignore list keeps getting cleared on startup.

I've tried reinstalling the game already in case there's some junk in my game directory but that didn't help.

On startup? Your ignorelist<charactername>.txt file has data in it when you log off? What OS? Maybe you're out of harddrive space? Or there's some sort if file permission problem?

now the ignore list, are you using the pda tab for that and selecting session?

If you pick session it will purge the list when you logout.

I noticed that the session selection doesn't work, and that selecting 'Always' changed to 'never' when you log in the next time. I fixed those two problems.

It didn't happen for a couple of runs now.. so either the last updates did it or it magically fixed itself. I've used the ignore command and the ui ..didn't make a difference. The file always looked correct after logoff. But was cleared the next time I went through the char select screen.
I've also moved the game directory and did a clean install. That should rule out permission problems.

I'm on 32bit slackware linux.
