trident jump issue, plus turret issue
Tonight I docked with a Trident [*Didich Demusen] in Odia G-14. It was taking fire from some Guardians and seemed stuck, so I hopped in the swarm turret and opened fire.
1) Upon firing, I had to wait until the swarms had all expired before firing again - a long wait. I was able to circumvent this by leaving the turret and returning to it immediately. I was then able to fire while my previous swarms were still flying.
2) After killing the nearest Gaurdian, the Trident began to move and eventually initiated a jump while I sat in the turret. I saw the blue aura and then immediately issued back to my home station. This was about 15 mintues ago.

The tridents, being bot controlled, don;t exist all the time. They usually jump to "nowhere", but it often says they go to a wh sector. If your in them when they stop existing in the game, you die. I'm saying this because it seems consistent with observations (ie, when it jumps, you die, if you follow it outside the ship it isn;t at the other side of the jump)
The capitol swarms are delayed to prevent them from being too overpowered.

i agree with a delay...but the current delay is over whelming.
I'm finally working on the issue with dying when the capship jumps to 'nowhere'.
I recall filing a bug report via the web interface on Whistler's first issue, if that's any help.
1) is not a bug. it's just the way it works.
2) It was a feature to keep you from being jumped to nowhere.
Now, it's changed to ejecting you in your ship before the jump.
(think of it as a dump truck with a big, orange "Construction vehicle - do not follow" sign on the back.)
Nice work, Ray.

I think you mean "Stay 200 feet back".
But, honestly, does anyone? lol
