There seems to be some problem with updater or server.
When i run updater it almost immediately displays:

Checking update program...

Unable to connect to the Vendetta Online
For more information on using Vendetta Online with

Connection failed!

i can ping update.guildsoftware.com just fine.

Few other people seem to be having same problem.
