if you hunt down a queen in a sector of a solar system that hasn't got a dynamic hive, the queen's guardians ignore you completely! this could be classed as unfair, because you can then get easy exp from them. but it doesn't happen in hive skirmishes!

If you kill the hive queen before killing the escorts, they will turn and attack you -- I think what is happening is that the 'follow' command that the escorts are being given is not being overridden when a threat appears.
