I got out my logitech js today thinking it would be nice to be able to strafe a bit better using the hat switch and such but when I went out to fight it felt 10x slower then using a keyboard. Was wondering if this was just me or if theres some kind of difference.

update: after strafing a non moving sign with both keyboard and js it appears the js input isn't being detected quick enough or something to that effect, because it appears to accelerate slower when moving back and forth compared to using a keyboard.

Hmm, interesting. Both keyboard and joystick inputs are processed at the same time and the hat switch is just considered discrete inputs like keyboard buttons are. I'll make a note of it and look into it when I have time.
