I have been queen killing and made it to Queen Hunter 1 ( yay me )
Just went on another one and hit her with everything in my Rag and the blue shield bar never decreased and I was getting to 250 -350 m before I released my ammo . I made 8 trips to reload and not once did the blue shield bar move, got the audio hits , but never a depletion of her shield . (In Dau F -15 if that helps ).

what ship/bat/weapons?

I'm having the same problem. Queens are not killable because the shields just aren't coming down. Missions like Critical Hive are almost impossible to do :(

I've had this same bug. Was in latos F-5 and could not take the queen down despite having a rag/fast/2 locust swarm 3 plasma hx. Couldn't even dent it's shields - at the very least i should have been able to make it go down a bit. What is weird is that before this queen, I killed two other queens in the last hour with the same setup.

Blacknet , I was using a Rag , with swarms , fast charge , and forgot what missiles in the 3 small ports.
It worked for the other 3 queen kills , just had to reload the swarms , then re-placed the 3 small ports with plasma cannons , and took her down .

One other note , Before this bug , I had one queen kill , and had her at 30% health and her shields replenished , hows this possible ? at least when I hit her with swarms the shield fell away quick . I would think if you have her below a certain health % , she shouldn't be-able to regain her shields .

When a capship's shields are lowered, they will be brought back up again if the capship is not damaged for a predetermined amount of time. For Hive Queens this number is very low, somewhere on the order of two or three minutes.

This is not a bug, but a feature. Queen and Levi shields' recharge rate depends on the strength of the surrounding hive in systems with hive infestations. You need to empty out some of the surrounding sectors before the shields are breakable.

I'd been fighting bots around thats sector for 30-40mins prior to taking the critical mission (it was the only one left). The queens shield just wouldn't budge!

I think there might be a problem (this is a new feature? Cause it was working before :P)

a1k0n: Zen-Iwatta was hunting hive queens in Dau. Those have a static recharge rate, don't they?
