BioCom mission bug
When on the third mission of the new BioCom tree (where you first get the mine) I decided to see what would happen if I dropped the mine too close to the bots so I got caught in the explosion. Predictably, I died, but upon respawning in the station, the mission did not end. It gave the "We're disappointed, you came highly recommended" spiel, but the mission was still active. At that point I aborted it, and it gave the "This is an affront to the BioCom Corporation. We will not be working with you further." line and ended the mission, but without any faction drop. And the mission tree is gone from the Board. Thanks!

well i also died, mission ended after a while so not message about not want to work with me again but the mission is not available anymore either.
that's BS i mean... if you don't know what comes you fail.
i should have picked a rag with swarms+gems i guess. not an atlas as only available largeport thingy. but i am not at home here! so choices are limited.

Same thing happend to me: got caught in the (massive) splash and died, but had my home set in Sedina = fail and now I can't see the mission...
Well, it's not necessarily a bad idea to only have one go at the mission - the plot of the mission chain sort of requires it.
But please, when player dies, make the mission fail without a biocom faction standing loss, and when he aborts, make the mission take away *lot* of faction standing - my biocom standing hasn't moved a bit when I aborted the mission on purpose after I died in the big bang.

i disagree on one go missions. because there is always luck involved and that heavy battery shit forces unlucky moments like well no power left to run away... selfboomified.
i hate heavy batts they need ages to recharge and are empty in no time. honestly neither the corvus nor the biocom trees were fun.
and buggy even takes more out of it. these presetup ships to use i hate it. cent with heavy bat can't even run... player interference mission borked in the worst case.

I previously replied to all of this stuff in the General thread.

You can switch battery before you launch Shaded.
The mine needs 500 energy to fire...
you get the sl when you launch... how to change it then?
