Mentoring Issue
Kur'gan tried to invite me as a mentor earlier but it told him that I was too high level to be mentored. When I tried inviting him to be my mentor and he accepted it worked. I tried logging in and out, and it confirmed I am his student and he is my mentor. For reference, his levels are 3/3/2/4/0; mine are 14/15/13/20/14.

ignore my email, confirmed, I as UPN am Mor Isil's mentor o.0
If you have leveled up and then someone invites you in that same session, you will get the 'too high to be mentored' message I believe.
According to the code, the 'You have reached too high a level to be mentored.' message only happens when you try to invite someone to be your mentor and your character has already been mentored.
The error is misnamed. It should say your character has already been mentored. or something like that.
So, using Johnny Pies example, Kur'gan must've already been mentored. Johnny Pies was never mentored.
The mentor code currently does not check license levels.

The mentor system really should have a /mentor offer "name" command that lets someone offer to be another player's mentor. It never really made sense to me that the people who would need mentoring were expected to know to type the /mentor invite command.
kanaka is right.
