I played for about 20 minutes at lunch today after downloading, and I noticed that I spent over half that time looking at the loading screens. Now I know it has nothing to do with my machine,3.2 64 bit, 256 meg card, 2.5 gig of ram, even the most extreme games with the visual settings turned all the way up give me no issues. The game would run fine, after it loaded for eons. I just am curious if this is normal for this game. It was kind of a Buzz Kill. Anyhow I still will give it a shot and see how it goes.

Longarm, the loading times are usually extremely short, so something is definitively amiss.

Sounds like connection issues, you were not running torrents or some other kind of network heavy application on your network at the time were you? One thing you can do is type /ping while the game is running and see what your ping is, I average ~20, but that is abnormally low for most, anything over 200 or 300 though is something you might want to look into.

i lived quite awhile away from guild software and i usually get 70~60 ping im on the east coast in canada

Even for me with my Aussie pings of 250+ I get load times of under 10 seconds usually. Probably more like 3 seconds typically.
