In Sedina C9, I tried to mine a roid and this showed up: there are no resources to mine there. Well, what's it made of then, dark matter?

that would be the levi roid ring. that is normal behavior to and not a bug.

Alright, thanks. One thing though, why do some of them have materials in them? It would seem like if what you're saying is tryue, they would all be un-mine-able.

The only asteroids that don't have ore are the ones that appear around the Leviathan; you must have found a sector where the Hive had been defeated, and the asteroid ring was just a remnant of its previous presence.

It could fairly be considered a bug that those don't have ore. They're only there to keep you from warping in/out freely in the hive stronghold.

Wait, are you saying that some of the asteroids in the ring *did* have ore? Ray added a thing to generate ore for asteroids that don't have any, so I guess that would partly explain it, but it's odd that they don't all work then...

ahh I see what's wrong. Some of the asteroids didn't have a proper 'asteroid' name so they didn't know what the mineral content should be. I fixed it for the next update.

as long as I have been in the game about half the levi roid ring shows hits from the mineral scanner, base ore and Xith only.

As soon as I can I will scan the roid ring and send a report in.
