"On a sidenote, I'm also working on getting the Trac stuff ready for public debut (I know I've said that like 50 times), which includes moving it to some beefier hardware. The current Trac server would be a little too easy to overwhelm (P2 233mhz with 160MB of ram), which would be inconvenient for us."

Also I'm using KDE 3.5.5 as my WM at the moment.
Is your fullscreen resolution in your modelines in your xorg.conf, if not that might be why. Also, if you are using compiz-fusion you need to check "undirect fullscreen windows" and "enable legacy fullscreen support" the first will keep it from crashing when you fullscreen, and the second will make it actually fullscreen right.
There's some strange interaction between switching window modes and the sounds driver, causing the linux version to crash on some machines. I rearranged some code in hopes of fixing this problem.
I noticed that plugins will cause this behavior as well, not sure what requirements have to be met for the crash. Also happens in windows.
