Ok this is a problem. what if you are making a new char like i am right now. I go through the first part of the tutorial but the station doesn't have any ships. And theres no way to log out so i have to crash vo to retry the 1st tutorial.

you can't use the console. The 1st tutorial freezes everything :(

I had a similar issue not long ago. I started a UIT character, and was placed initially at Dau L-10. Ships were listed normally, but the station didn't stock the free ship...

My only option was to crash the game, delete the character, remake the character and hope it placed me at a different station. If it hasn't been done, someone should go through the list of initial stations and make sure they all have the free ship in stock.

huh, very strange. I checked out that station and it had the free ship available. No one else has modified ship availability for a long time, so I think it may have been the bug where no (or not all) ships were visible.
