Launch VO as usual. Login/password. Accept the EULA. Pick the pilot. And the game is stuck forever in "Entering universe...". I know I'm not the only one.

its taking about 5 to 10 min to log in.

can't log in anymore and logged out because i couldn't dock at a staion

Is the game still offline? Just trying to login in game first time on trial account and getting timeout form server.

I am having this same issue today ... I tried to dock at a station and it stuck at the loading screen (10min or so) I closed the client ... restarted the client ... now when I log in it says entering universe forever ... I have an alt who has no stats or inventory who logs in without problems

Ugh. I found a couple problems and will restart the server in about an hour with some fixes for them. That should get you unstuck, Waldoze.

Weirdest thing was that when stuck at the station loading screen, I could still chat!
I was about to take a huge mission, too... :E

can log in under other alts but one gets hung up on entering universe.

Ok, restarted. Nobody should get stuck anymore, although there may be the occasional problem loading the station until this new Erlang connectivity bug is fully tracked down.

I'm now getting stuck when i log in. I'm geting a message that says "connection closed by server" as after i finish the log in proccess.

jeffkno76: Latos L-2 is an empty sector, so that's strange. Latos C-2? Sedina L-2, maybe? I just checked all those sectors out, and they're OK. Your in-game account is different than the account you're using to post the message, so I don't know who to look for in my logs.
