I just got caught in an ion storm while i was travelling within a solar system. When I got to the storm's exit, and pressed enter, it said I was already at my destination. I checked my navigation map and it showed my current location as the sector I was travelling to. To get out of the storm I had to choose a new destination on my nav map. I've never seen this happen before. This just happened several minutes ago.

Thats not a bug, the ion storm was in the sector that was your destination. Ion storms happen an asteroid sectors, so you plotted a course to an ion storm.

Ion storms do not happen *in-between* sectors, they happen in them.
