I just got a new monitor - and i try to change the gamma, and well... there's no friggin button.

I'm on Ubuntu with Nvida Geforce 256MB with drivers.

Yeah, I'm not aware of any way to change the OpenGL gamma without changing the whole X server's gamma. You can use xgamma to do that though as a stopgap solution.
