hey i've noticed that nowhere in the game does it mention anything about how you can get access to an in game map you know like the one on this site or others (you know the one where all the star systems are conected) it'd be a big help if some one could tell me what the in game shortcut is

I beleived it's mentioned in the game tutorial somewhere that "F1" gives you a quick help.

In there, common shortcuts are listed, included the "Navigation map" with "n".

Are you maybe missing the "zoom to system" button on the nav map?

Surely you mean "Zoom to universe"...

Er, yeah. Heh.

Actually, it's 'zoom to universe' and 'zoom to system' but yoda's is the first he'll see.
