When i launch the application the Vendetta Update Utility screen shows up. It explains that my version is current, and the Read Manual and Play Vendetta buttons are selectable; but when I click on Play Vendetta the screen closes out and nothing happens. No new screen loads up, no loading in general....what is going on here, and how do I get this game to work. Oh, and if it matters for some reason, I have the demo version, but I do have an account on the vendetta-online page.

Did you try redownloading Vendetta?

i haven't redownloaded it par-say from the website, but i did reload the original download a couple of times

redownloading shouldnt be necessary- the updater will make sure you have a current, uncorrupted copy of the game. Post the last several lines of the file errors.log in your vendetta directory (c:\program files\vendetta online on windows, ~/.vendetta on linux- getting to it on mac is a little more complicated, so post if you're on mac and need help).

On a Mac, control- or right-click on the Vendetta Application and find errors.log.

If you're on a mac, make sure you copy the Vendetta app out of the disk image onto your desktop or some place on your harddrive.

yea i am using a mac, and i'll get back w/ u ppl about the errors.log. A little different and harder to find/mess with on my mac than others...

found the errors log, and apparently there is no error for this program, so i dono, u ppl tell me...

Was the errors.log file empty? Did you copy the Vendetta app to your harddrive before running it?

Hmm. 10.2.8. I will have to see if that's the problem by seeing what happens on our old G3 with 10.2.8 on Monday.
