OK, I downloaded the game, then when click on the Vendetta icon it opens up a small box that says "vendetta updater" for about 3 seconds before it closes and displays a new box that says:

"the application has unexpectadly quit. No other programs have been affected" and then gives me the option to quit out of that box or send a bug report to apple.

It does this every. single. frickin. time! I even went and upgraded my OS from 3.4.9 to 3.9.1 and that didnt work, so Im hoping one of the programmers will read this and tell me how to remedy it.

Er, you mean you upgraded from 10.3.4 to 10.3.9?

Did you copy the vendetta icon out of the .dmg onto your hard drive somewhere?

Yeah, it does that automatically, then when its all good and loaded a littile white box thing with a disc slot appears on the destop, and the vendetta readme file and the main icon thingy are inside.

And you need to move Vendetta from that mounted disk image to a folder on your hard drive (generally Applications).
