It did? Sonofa.. The webserver has the right timezone though. Weird. I guess I should restart the FastCGI processes.

...and running the message board in a sane timezone like GMT would prevent all the hassle with switching the clocks back and forth all year around.

GMT is not sane. No f'ing way am I letting my sun set at 1 o'clock.

Yeah, American timezones are odd and change differently to the rest of the world. I have now given up trying to convert messageboard time to local time, as it keeps shifting. Can we have timezone information as part of the profile at some point, so the timestamps are localised?

This is not an urgent request, as people who care enough can work it out for themselves, but whenever the next website overhaul happens, having local timestamps would be beneficial to many users.

I vote for using GMT as the Board's timezone. I hate the concept of DST (it ruins my inner clock. I could rant on about how pissed I am at that, but I won't do it. My posting in the bugs forums is proof enough...)
