He's using Windows XP Home with a nvidia 5200. He's been getting quite a few strange bugs lately, actually.
Looks like bad ram to me.

When the fan on my gfx card stopped working I got similar effects sometimes.
Here's a few visual problems.
parts of a station missing
see through wall
docking bay force field coming undone also another see through wall in the bottom left corner of the image.
docking bay sunk into the station, also other problems
I don't care if you fix these problems or not, I find them amusing. I'm using a 128mb geforce 4 and win2k

Wow, that's pretty neat. The only time I've seen problems like that is when the video card starts flaking out or there are bad drivers.
Failing that, I'd be curious to see what opening the case and directing a fan on your card would do. Could be a hot card.
ok whistler ill get out my lazer pyromiter and take some measurments then using fans or somehting ill make the card run cooler and see what happens at different tematures
EDIT: im starting to suspect that roids arent supposed to change shape either. depending on where im viewing them from beyond simple geometry.

ok video card was running at 113F using a big fan i got it down to 80 and there was no change if anything it got worse
If you go into Options->Video->Change Driver, what driver are you using and if you're using dx8, try dx9 and if you're using dx9 try dx8 or opengl.
See if that helps.

same thing with both dx's, its also there with opengl to a lesser extent. in opengl the edges of parts of the station appear to fludder as i move, kinda the station is changing shape slightly, but the uberlow framerate is far more distracting. ill dig out a 3dfx card i have around, they did opengl splendidly.
are you playing in 16 bit mode? that looks a bit like what I used to get with that ... and all your shots look like they are zoomed in
Yeah, they do look zoomed-in. If that's the case, it looks like a zbuffer problem when in 16bit mode.
nope 32bit mode yes i zoomed some in to get a better shot
the second pic is non zoomed i think

EDIT: that was in DX8.1
