The beep is no longer there when you actually hit stuff. Though I don't consider this a bug and good riddance. Can we get a blinking crosshair instead?

I'm on a gentoo64 system (you guys should have my system specs already).

"Bidi Baba" runs OSX and says he hears beeps.

"Quietus" runs a 32bit gentoo and had this problem on teh test server and production.

I'm on XP and I do hear the beep.

I have yet to hit a storm, but will try to find one.

After restarting the client the beeping returned... NOOOOO =(

Please put this bug back in and make it more persistent ;)
