Advanded Combat Practice Bug
There seems to be a bug in the advanded combat practice info. Whenever you make kills etc. and the info appears in your hud, it never appears in the mission log pane of the PDA. You can actually see the formatting for the "Contact" button appear int he hud (stuff within <> and </> tags) so I'm guessing something just isn't formatted right, I haven't been able to read it fast enough to see if maybe it's just a syntax/typo issue.

Known. For that mission there's a workaround: destroy a bot NOT on the list, so the "Contact" button appears where it's supposed to be.

Sorry for the dupe, I searched but it didn't turn up anything. Thanks for the help.
Actually, thanks for the reminder. This bug is pretty ridiculous and we should fix it.
While you're at it, a1k0n, can you fix the bug by which framerate gets progressively worse the longer you are in the Adv Combat mission until it's dropping to 1 or less FPS every time the mission computer updates or you take damage? There must be SOMETHING you can do about that... even just dumping/purging the mission computer updates from memory incrementally....

This is after less than half an hour, and it just keeps getting worse until you quit the game client and log back on. It's really annoying to fight and have your FPS drop to unmanageable the moment you start taking damage... it's a sure fire way to take even more damage and wind up dead.

I don't have that bug Cunjo... maybe it's Windows? :P
If it was Windows, the solution would be to restart Windows, not the game client, apple fanboy.
Maybe if it *wasnt* windows, non-windows users would experience the bug, king of denial boy

*edit to add actually useful info*
Oh, and it's quite possible that it's a leaky driver causing this, and unloading the game resets the directX component, thereby freeing up the memory and CPU cycles again.. so in actuality.. it could very well be the OS's fault for not properly protecting memory from bad drivers.

I get the same thing when mining and botting for a long time under linux. Not quite that bad ..but seems to get progressively worse over time. So if I'd not restart the client for a day or two it'd probably look the same.
Maybe it's related to the fact that the "Advancement logs" buffer has a fixed size, and when it's full, no new strings are added, and the log basically "freezes".
What about a circular buffer? Or a queue, same thing? Fixed size, but you never actually fill it up, because you'd pop the oldest line when you add the newest one.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing but when I'm doing the advanced combat mission and i am hunting tycorps my computer seems to slow down (its a mac G5 dual Processor)and my frame rate seems to drop the more i kill and makes it almost impossible to bot.
Some times restarting my computer works, sometimes it doesn't.
