Support for only eight axes?

Dec 24, 2006 Kragmier link
VO detects 11 axes when it loads, but the joystick configuration page only shows eight. Running the Linux binary through strings seems to indicate that only eight axes are supported. Would it be possible to add a few more?

What would you do with more than six axes anyway? Or has someone figured out a Hypercube Dodge pattern?

Nerde: It's called a lag-dodge. >_>

I only want to use six, but I want to use numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, & 9. I have no use for 4, 6, 7, 10 or 11, but I don't know of a way to reorder them to place unused axes at the end of the list.

Could you please post which controller you're attempting to use with Vendetta? Most of us have no idea what you're going on about.

Hmm, when I get my new controllers, I'll have at least 8 axis for them....

That was fast :)

Think I could talk you into making it so that the new axes save when you exit the game?

Oh and a JOYBUTTON32 and a JOYBUTTON33 :)
