quite literally, with "<hudtext>". probably a copy-paste error in the mission editor?

Weird. The mission hasn't changed... most likely something changed in the client that broke parsing of those.

Same behavior with Advanced Combat Practice.

When you kill a bot in the list, the message goes into "Advancement Logs", with tags unquoted, instead of in "Mission Logs". You then can't click on the "Contact" button that's supposed to be interactive. You need to kill a bot *NOT* in the list, to have the "Contact" button appear in the "Mission Logs".

Fascinating.

This sounds like it would be fun to play around with once fixed...
