Ok, so I was doing Border Skirmish in Deneb B-12, and decided to take some screenshots, so I turned up my Video settings. To my surprise, this happened: http://server6.theimagehosting.com/image.php?img=dump0005.jpg

I then proceded to turn my settings in the Graphics options to maximum, thinking that might solve the weird texture problem.
I was wrong, of course, and this is what happened next:

Restarting the client fixed the problem.

If you're on Linux using nvidia, blame the drivers. They sometimes have texture corruption issues.

Forgot to add I'm on a Mac using 10.4.8, ATI Radeon 7500 (32MB), 1GHz processor, 768MBs of RAM. :)

OSX doesn't handle not having enough videl memory very well. Since you only have a 32meg video card and tried to use maximum quality, bad things happened. I've noticed that different bad things happen depending on what video card is used.
