If I open the inventory->inventory tab while mining the client becomes completely unresponsive till my hold is full.

I guess the problem is that I have a pretty large inventory. Which means it takes (almost) longer to refresh the inv list than it takes to mine a unit. That is probably made even worse by using multiple mining beams..

(and I still get a slight jump whenever I mine a unit)
