Just downloaded Vendetta Online and I am trying to connect. I have set up my account as requested. After providing my username and password at the login screen, the "connecting..." message appears for a couple of minutes. Then "server timed out". Is ther a problem with the servers?

Go to Options -> Network -> MTU Discovery
Set it to "Compatibility Mode"

Then try again.

The server may also have been down this morning. I heard it was just ten minutes before I logged on.

That very thing also happens if your firewall software is not allowing Vendetta. You may have to allow it manually.
