Resolution Bug
I run a Quad Core Powermac G5 witn a 20" monitor. Every time I set the !@#$!#@#ing resolution to 1680 x 1050, the client resets it to 1280 x 1050. It resets it only after I've quit VO, though. After I set the resolution and stay online, the resolution holds.
This happens to me as well in windowed mode. It does not happen in full screen mode, I always assumed it was a feature.
I ahve a quad core G5 with a 7800 graphics card and a 23 inch cinema display.

Typing your desired resolution into config.ini prior to launching also doesn't hold when you quit VO.
[edit] as a matter of fact, VO changed my 1440x900|32 to 1080x675|32 in the config.ini upon quitting but, when I logged back on, I was at 1152x720|32.

When in window-mode, VO resizes the window to fit the desktop if the window is too big, because OS X doesn't allow windows bigger than the desktop. Well, OS X may allow it now, but it certainly didn't in 10.2.x.
But, that doesn't explain the problem with fullscreen resolutions not holding.
What are your desktop resolutions set to?

Im not having the issue with Full Screen resolutions, only windowed resolutions. Not sure about the current state of allowed resolutions, but if I set to 1920xwhatever it still allows it.
It's only a windowed issue for me as well. So it's Apple's fault yet again? I'll petition them along with the Alt + tab option >_>
But it doesn't explain why it works when I initially change it. I see the resolution getting better and the settings say it is the resolution I set it at. Is this one of those things I'll just have to keep doing?

So, what is your desktop res and what res are you manually setting in the config.ini? and in which mode are you starting VO, windowed or fullscreen? I'm trying to duplicate the problems, so all this data is needed (and maybe more).
I start at 1280 x 1050 in windowed. I change to 1680 x 1050 in windowed after I start up the client. My desktop is run at 1680 x 1050.
