Reasonably frequently I am in a mission, whether killing bots, or mining and I will get the green text up showing my xp/credit gains, except they will be negative values. Sometimes I will have been given too large an amount, then a negative amount corrects it, but mostly it is just negative amounts without a too large amount before or after.
