Just posting this here for the record. I mentioned it to Andy the other night, and he said it's a known issue, but this should help bring it near the top of your tickler file.

Over the weekend I earned the hive queen and PK badges. Unfortunately, BOTH gave me a lua error. I was unable to save either one (tried to screenshot the HQ badge one, no effect, and the PK one froze the client and needed a complete three finger salute and restart of the game.)

Andy said these were in line to be fixed, so this is just a reminder. Thanks.

Sorry I couldn't get the wording of the lua error, Andy. I checked my logs, but it doesn't seem to be there. Please don't beat me.

Okay, so it says I've only done 119/120 of the mining missions, but I DID finish the last one. I don't have the badge, but oddly enough I can now buy high-density mining beams. When I buy them, and when I load them on to my ship for transport, I get the following error:

actually, I've just discovered that ALL my badges have disappeared!

Yup also get identical LUA errors to Porkness on completeing first mission if your a newb and when leveling too.
Also the mission if it offers you the 'weve got some 'stuff' if your going back to X' dosent show in the mission display. Just stays blank.

I hope the developers have't just glossed over this thread after reading the first post.
