Website looks... very odd.

Tried with the two browsers I have on the laptop, Camino and Safari. Both had similar graphical bugs:

Safari: 1 2 3
Camino: 1 2 3

Note on Camino #3... the url at the bottom says "oxomsgboard/7, not /x/msgboard7 ... that is the only forum on that list that does that.

My desktop, which has the same browsers, has none of these issues on EITHER browser. Suggestions? I've already tried quitting/restarting both browsers (several times) as well as restarting the computer. No changes occurred.

EDIT: Safari #3 is what the browser looked like after posting the thread.

Try firefox?

I think your laptop is broken.

I've never seen any of those things on Camino. You could try deleting and installing Camino again, I doubt it would do anything. Your best luck, short of sending it to apple, is to reinstall mac os.

I don't get that on Safari or Camino (or Firefox or Epiphany or Seamonkey or Opera) here.

I've never seen anything like that with Safari or Firefox (or Deerpark).

I tried with firefox as well, got similar results. Also, I've tried clearing the cache. No change. :s

I'd rather not reinstall the entire OS, but if I have to, I will... >_<

Neither of my computers are intel chips... would that still have an effect?

probably not. Maybe you just have bad harddrive sectors or bad ram.

Bad ram eh? Could be worse. Your lapop could do what my old computer loved to do every two months or so.

Boot from the install disk's hardware check and run it, that should find a problem in the hardware if there is one.

Odd... doing nothing at all seems to have fixed it. Hmm. I'll try the install disk if there's another problem.

I've heard that screen irregularities with web pages can occur in households where there is a lot of calc being done.
