missing d3d8.dll and d3d9.dll on laptop I have downloaded the game twice no change works on PC 2 feet away. searched desktop found d3d8 on the PC in a different place than the laptop said to look
and it wont transfer d3d9 isn't on other PC from what I can tell can a dev help me both are running windows 2000.

Options:

1) Use the OpenGL video driver by setting the VideoDriver line in the [Vendetta] section of C:\Program Files\Vendetta Online\config.ini equal to "OpenGL Reference GKGL Driver" (sans quotations)
2) Install DirectX 9, which is obviously incorrectly installed. download here
