1- after being loaded into a ship, weapons and batteries remain in the inventory list until you switch to another station tab and back; similarly, after an "Unequip All", equipment does not appear in the list until switching to another tab and back..
2- when setting weapon grouping, the "Apply" button causes the battery port to appear on the ship model (selectable, even); pressing the button for another group causes it to disappear again..
both of these bugs have been verified to affect more than one type of ship in more than one station

OK, both bugs have been fixed.
Not sure anyone else has noted this, but the Navmap in the PDA is clipped on both the left and right sides. Bractus is partially visable on the right, but GR & Deneb are not there, and there's no scrollbar to access.
Zooming is done with the mousewheel. If you don't have one, you're in trouble. :P
ahhhh.... tricky.
Devs; I'm hearing a lot of complaints about the new UI. I've kept my mouth shut, because I'm so new to the game, but I finally had to switch back to the original. It's just tough to use, and the inability to find the mission computer makes it really irritating. When I mentioned it in the game there was a chorus of "Me2!"
I hate making complaints without suggestions, but I think the original UI was a better one. Playtested and approved for quite a while.

With the game in the state it currently is, I prefer the old UI.
_However_, with the transition from the text interface for controlling missions, etc, I think it's a good direction to go in.
(As long as bar chat gets added back in, I'm fine with the new UI. :P )

Yeah, on that note (bar chat), if the new PDA interface is going to be productionized before putting the "new" bar chat in, could we please have a kludge of some sort allowing us to use the old one until then?

Heh, that reminds me...
/say_group still needs to have the /me treatment! It doesn't work yet!

I hacked together a little illustration of a "kludge"...

I found this exact problem today on the Windoze version. What you equip doesn't leave the addons screen, what you unequip doesn't appear on it. All of this is fixed by switching back and forth on the tabs.

First of all it's -optional- and listed as a -work in progress-.
Anyway... us miners may have notices some things in the Jettison screen. Your total cargo score status update as new cargo enters the hold.
A more problematic issue is that chatting in the jettison screen while mining is problematic. Every time new ore enters the cargo hold, that chat input loses focus. Often the first clue to this happening is when you try to type an "A" just after losing focus - and dump all that cargo out your rear. There are of course other interesting keyboard shortcuts you can hit on accient too.

maclypse: ah. thanks for the bugs. I fixed them for the update.
Just wanted to bring up the navmap (again). It is kinda annoying that the navmap is zoomed in a few clicks by default. Any chance that can be fixed?
okay, m opens up the mission stuff but pressing m does not close it like the u and n keys would.
<Equipment> -> <Sell> menu does not remove sold items, even after switching to other tabs and back...
immediately after selling something, the "sell" button becomes greyed-out when highlighting the no-longer-there item; after switching tabs and back, "sell" is no longer greyed, but pushing it does nothing... nothing recorded in errors.log

Universe view of navmap is still zoomed in too far at 1280x1024 with 75% font scaling.
Pressing 'k' doesn't bring up the PDA with character tab displayed; it brings up the old charinfo screen.
Charinfo in station still doesn't update (ie: you do a trade guild mission and get some standing while you are docked, but your PDA still shows the old standing)

The keyboard shortcuts in the PDA (specifically NavMap screen) could use some clarification. Pressing J on the map now switches to the cargo tab, it used to trigger the Jump button. Any way we could have those shortcuts be configurable, or at least mark the buttons to show what each does now?
Post 1.6.7.1
This doesn't have to do with the station interface but the UI, so I thought I'd post it here anyways rather than making a new thread.
New hotkey needs to be made for either the jettison menu or the jump command when browsing the PDA inflight. With the nav map open, where pressing "j" used to cause you to jump, it now brings up the jettison menu.
