Constellation Model Funkyness

Turrets not quite attached.
Bounding box slightly offset.
Engines not exactly attached either(Adjusted contrast and brightness).

The bounding box thing isn't a bug, really. It's the tightest fitting box, not the axis-aligned bounding box. But yeah, it leads to funkiness when we show it on the HUD.

About the turret thing: i have a pic of a similair instance on the Levi, im actually shooting Neutrons under the turret itself.

Does everyone use the !@#*ing 3D bound box?

/me started using the box just recently

went through the levi's hull as well... kinda messy when i boosted away while still in it...

ugh... as I see it, if you're close enough to your target to be able to tell the difference between box and brackets then you're already ignoring both and concentrating on the leadoff indicator.. at that point, the box is just more clutter getting in the way

The box helps a lot more than the brackets in determining the exact position of, say, a vult.

I use the box to determine the direction something is traveling in without having to actually look at the ship.

Particularly useful when dealing with the aforementioned Vult, especially if it's black. ;)

not really a bug, but i figure the devs might wanna take care of that little issue... more sector related i guess

Levi did move so the turret wasnt under the roid and i could kill it
