I've noticed something pretty funny.

If you take some of the faster ships at full "turbo" speed and engage an insystem jump, your ship will pass the "jump point" before the jump animation is complete.

The jump portal open behind you and your ship keeps flying.
Fortunately the jump still happens, so it's only a cosmetic problem.

Not sure about that one.
