Friend & Foe All Target/Radar as Enemy
Searched the Bug Forums and couldn't find any other post like this problem I'm having. (Maybe didn't search hard enough or this is a "personal" bug) Anyway:
Scenario #1: BP & BS Missions (Solo - Not Grouped)
All targets on Radar & when selecting "x" "b" "z" show both my own Nation members and the Enemy as Red/Enemy.
Scenario #2: BP & BS Missions (Grouped)
Targets on Radar show as normal "White" returns, but when selecting all pilots are Enemy.
Scenario #3: No Mission (Solo & Grouped)
Even when not participating in an organized mission, during basic Nation skirmishes in Deneb B-12 or Sedina B-8, I have the same results on Radar/Targeting as Scenario #1.
This may sound as if it's a personal problem with all members of VO, but I'm not KOS anywhere except 'Tani space and all my Guild mates may not like me, but they're still suppose to show as "friendlies" in a fight.
Thanks.

We just noticed this and I'm diagnosing it now. When did you first see the problem? Has anyone else?
Yeah .. I thought that's intentional. Even if pretty weird :P
These players are hated in that space, which seems to override the usual Friend/Foe rules.
A serco hated by uit in uit space would probably show up the same way to other serco.
EDIT: Hmm .. maybe that's why some of the serco bs cappies sometimes started shooting at my for no reason?

Mom, this is a REALLY old bug. When you're in enemy space, (IE, Itani) your friends show up as red because they're enemies of the space their in. Or something like that, that's how it was explained to me by Inc. He said he'd fix the problem when the faction system and the UI was revamped...
sooooo, in conclusioin... they're working the problem.

Confirming Calder's post. It's been this way since for months and months. We've just been "dealing with it", because we were told it would eventually be revamped with the faction system.
As Calder & Spuck have stated, when a group of serco are in Itani space (and vice-versa), Enemy status is relative to the nation-space, then the player (?), so all targets in this case are red. A UIT player in Deneb O-12 might show up as green to a Serco.

It's been like this ever since release. For once, we had to fill mom in, not the other way around. :D

Actually we found another bug that was making itani npcs red on a good-standing-itani's radar in an itani sector. Thats fixed, but yes, the bug/design-issue described here was new only to me :)
Not sure how this would work, but in the interim, couldn't some individual sectors (like deneb c-10 and b-12) be factioned as "grey-space"? Targeting, grouping and radar seem to work together fine, there.
I have this problem too...will it be fixed in the update tonight?
why not just make the whole lot relative to the pilot doing the viewing? IE people who have high faction with nations that you have high faction with, show up green...
