This is hardly a show-stopper, but I've been noticing that when I hit the Play Vendetta button on the updater I momentarily see a tab that says "test window". This is immediately replaced by the Vendetta tab and everything proceeds normally. It's certainly no big deal, but could probably use some refinement.

I see no such thing... not that I'm refuting what you're seeing, mr. left coast. (/me sniffs the air and Whistler's breath).

It's a tab in the task bar at the bottom of the screen that tells you what apps are open(Win XP btw - you'd think I'd be able to remember to list my OS by now).

I can see your wedding photos, RelayeR. The guises will find you.

the directx driver opens a test window to make sure that directx is working properly before continuing. I suppose I could just make the window name blank or something.

You or someone you care about MUST be in those photos. I just spread them all out on the ichor for the guises to memorize.

I don't know any of those people... they were pics that came in my wallet. Besides, the guises' windows interface and intel processor will be .0000000000000000001 off and some poor schmuck's family in Hoboken will be slaughtered.
