I have not been able to successuflly open vendetta with my mac mini. It crashes every time. I try to open, the screen goes black then blue then black again and I get the crash report. Any ideas???

go into the Vendetta.app bundle and edit the config.ini file.
add these lines:

[Vendetta]
xres=800
yres=600
bpp=32

According to your bug report, it looks like it's failing to autodetect the correct resolution.

Okay, HOW do I go into the bundle? I don't know much about programing. Okay, I know NOTHING about it! Also, does the fact that I have a widescreen monitor have anything to do with the resolution issue? My Monitor's Res is set at 1680 x 1050. Thank you for your help.

click on Vendetta and select 'Show Contents' I think.
Either right-click (if you can) or use the menu to show the contents.

Actually, I don't think that's the problem. We haven't been able to test Vendetta Online on intel mac minis and there have been some reported problems, so VO may have a problem running on intel mac minis.

Bummer. I couldn't open the cinfig.ini file, because I had no app to open it with. I tried using Applescript, but it didn't work. I tried downloading Vendetta again, and attemted to open it BEFORE it downloaded the latest update. I was able to get to the main menu and options screens, but unable to actually play. Once I had 1.5.8 downloaded though, the original problem resurfaced.

Use textedit.app. Its in your applications folder.
cfg.ini is basically a text file. Edit lines ray told you to and save changes.

You can use textedit to open it.

Okay, thanx for all your help guys, but I still haven't solved my problem. The first time I try to open Vendetta after booting up, I will briefly see the main menu, then a zoomed in version of my desktop, then it crashes. After the first try, it does the black-blue-black-crash sequence. The following is my errors.log, any ideas?
