Ok, as I write this the DR 24 is finishing up, as I died to unknown causes.

I entered Shinas O-13, checked U and nobody was in sector, and I was fairly close to the WH so noone could jump in and have enough time to kill me. There was NOTHING on my radar, then as I'm jumping through the WH I explode, getting the message the spuck killed me.

Now after announcing this on 100, I got an msg from Jan that he noticed the same bug in that sector, spuck was dimmed on the sector list for him and he could disapear from radar.

Then I asked spuck how he killed me, and he didn't know. He suggested that maybe I crashed into him while he was sitting at the WH.

I din't know that you checked the sector list too. Guess you can'T have just missed me then. I was sitting on the hole and blasting rockets in your general direction. That's how you died.

... a few minutes before you entered I timed out. That probably messed something up. Cool! :D

Oddly enough another racer saw me in the sector before you came.

We have Arolte to thank for this WH warpin and warpout non-invulnerability, right? Awesome!

its a feature that you can 'hide' in wormholes, you wont show up on radar, but you should be on the sector list..

Nope, 99% sure it's a bug, I have heard of no intended no showing on radar features.

Shhhh, now people will figure out how I go fishing. :P

not a bug, just a very handy (perhaps unintentional) feature, where you can mask your ship's radar signature with that of the wormhole... it really doesn't do anything to make you invisible though - just hides the radar dot...

Dunno if it's related at all, but if you park your ship directly on the center of a WH (target it & move to 0m away), the WH icon disappears from the radar... I suppose if you did that, and on radar the WH icon was layered above the ship dot, then your ship's dot would be covered by the WH icon on other ships radar. But like zamzx zik said, you would still show up on the sector list...
