When I play for a few mins the screen gets all messed up. I've posted screenshots: http://stuwww.uvt.nl/~s449311/strange.tga and http://stuwww.uvt.nl/~s449311/strange2.tga. I use a Nvidia Gforce 6800 GT, with the latest (7676) drivers, but I also had this issue on my ati 9600 XT.

My xorg version is 6.8.2-r3 and my kernel version is 2.6.13. When I kill x and restart I don't have this issue anymore.

Very strange. I've not seen anything quite like that. I'm using a nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra w/ Linux Kernel 2.6.13. I'm not currently using the 7676 nVidia drivers, as I recently downgraded to try to fix a different problem, but I have used the 7676 drivers, and didn't see anything like your screenshots.

The problem that I was seeing was very minor, just the edges of the skybox textures not aligning properly. Downgrading through several different versions of the nVidia drivers hasn't helped, I'm going to be reupgrading to 7676 again soon.

OK, that's confusing. I've had this problem for months now. I just switched the Graphics Background Detail from Very High to High, and my misaligned skybox textures went away. Switched back to Very High and they still are lined up correctly. Then switched to Extremely High (dunno why I wasn't already there) and they still line up correctly. Jump to a new sector, still fine. Logoff & back in and I'm still good. Then I logoff & quit, and when I run vendetta again the problem is back, until I switch Graphics Background Detail level again.
