Connection times out when I try and log into the game. I'm able to log into the vendetta website just fine but not the game. My connection is adelphia high speed internet cable. I currently have the two weak trial

I hope you'll find that it's a two WEEK trial.

Please disconnect from the internet and close the software you use to connect to your ISP.

Disable your firewall software.

Reconnect to your ISP and attempt to connect to the game again.

If this works, you will need to re-enable your firewall and manually configure it to allow Vendetta (vendetta.rlb is usually what the firewall picks up on). Sometimes the act of re-enabling forces the firewall to query you about Vendetta, which makes things simple.

Its a two week trial? I thought it was 8 hours?

Blah, I can't keep track. It's 8 hours trial for downloading. The box version gave a month...

Anyway, did you get in the game?

When I disable my firewall I am able to play the game. I disconnected my cable modem and disabled my 'local area connection' under Network Connections. I then disabled my firewall and was able to play the game but wasn't able to play it soon as I started back up the firewall.

I would like to be able to play the game without having to disable my firewall. the firewall I use is Trend Micro Internet Security. It also doubles as virus protection. I made an exception for 'vendetta.rlb' in the firewall but it didn't make a difference. Any other file you might suggest that I try making an exception for?

You could just get a real firewall. ZoneAlam is free, and I would bet that it works considerably better than "Trend Micro Internet Security".

Try vendetta.exe

If your firewall has a log, you could just look in the log and see what file it has a disagreement with.
